Andante con moto. Liliana Moro

PAC Pavilion of Contemporary Art - From June 26 to September 15, 2024

For the summer of 2024, the PAC Pavilion of Contemporary Art presents a solo exhibition dedicated to Milanese artist Liliana Moro. Active since the 1980s, her art revisits contexts and everyday objects in a conceptual and minimalistic manner, leaving space for sound, a central element in her research and the protagonist of the exhibition. Her work includes various techniques and languages such as performance, video, collage, drawing, words, and sculpture.

Museo del ‘900 - From April 14 to November 3, 2024

ARCHIVIALE_001 is the first exploration of the history of private galleries in Milan from the 1940s to today. The exhibition path traces artistic choices, international relationships, avant-garde events, and encounters with artists that have animated the city's cultural scene. Promoted by the Milan Art Community, the network that brings together the most important galleries and institutions in the city of Milan, the project is hosted in the Archives of the Twentieth Century spaces on the 4th floor of the Museo del Novecento.

Io sono un Drago. La vera storia di Alessandro Mendini

Triennale Milano – From April 13 to October 13, 2024

I am a Dragon. The true story of Alessandro Mendini at Triennale Milano tells the story of this great architect, designer, artist, and theorist through a large retrospective, inspired by one of his most emblematic self-portraits. It highlights the complexity of his figure within the international design, architecture, and art scene.

 

Waves Only Exist Because the Wind Blows - eL Seed

Pirelli HangarBicocca - from July 3, 2024, permanent exhibition

“Waves Only Exist Because the Wind Blows” is the title of the new monumental-scale Street Art intervention by eL Seed that stands on the external walls of the "Cubo" at Pirelli HangarBicocca. The site-specific intervention, inaugurated on July 3, 2024, is linked to the history and evolution of the place. The work themes the social and political history of the area where Pirelli HangarBicocca is located, inviting reflection on the themes of identity and the sense of belonging and rootedness.

Fondazione Prada – From March 28 to September 23, 2024

With a large retrospective, Fondazione Prada delves into the innovative character of Italian artist Pino Pascali, who in just three years of his career revolutionized and marked the Italian and international art scene of the 1960s. His works had a fundamental impact on several generations of artists and critics, and the exhibition - curated by Mark Godfrey - is a unique opportunity to enter the playful and surprising world of an artist worth knowing.
