From November 3rd to 5th, Artissima, the international contemporary art fair, returns to enliven Turin with its 30th edition.

This edition takes place at the Oval Lingotto and hosts over 180 galleries with a theme based on the concept of "care."

The fair features four established sections: Main Section, including the most renowned galleries in the international art scene; New Entries, reserved for emerging galleries participating in the fair for the first time; Monologue/Dialogue, dedicated to emerging galleries with an experimental approach, presenting either a monographic stand or a dialogue between works of two artists; Art Spaces & Editions, hosting galleries specialized in artist editions and multiples, bookstores, project spaces, and non-profit spaces.

There are also three curated sections, hosted on the digital platform Artissima Voice Over: Drawings, curated by Irina Zucca Alessandrelli (curator of Collezione Ramo – Milan), focuses on works on paper; Present Future, curated by Maurin Dietrich (director of Kunstverein München – Munich) and Saim Demircan (independent curator and writer, Turin) – showcasing monographic projects of emerging artists; Back to the Future, dedicated to solo exhibitions of artists whose work is concentrated between the years 1950 and 1979, curated by Defne Ayas (freelance curator, Berlin) and Francesco Manacorda (freelance curator, London).

The theme for Artissima 2023 is "Relations of Care," where art plays the role of activating individual and social imagination, becoming the "matrix of all relationships." These are the same relationships that the fair has been able to weave over these three decades, connecting gallerists, artists, collectors, professionals, and enthusiasts.
