M77
Milan Founded in 2014 by Giuseppe Lezzi and Emanuela Baccaro Directed by Chiara Principe
DESCRIPTION
M77 opened in 2014 with the purpose to make room for new ideas in Milan’s contemporary art scene. Offering its 1000 sqm space as a platform for dialogue and a place for ambitious projects, M77 hosts exhibitions with a strong site-specificity. The core mission of the gallery is to foster a reputable and varied roster of artists by bringing their ideas and vision to fruition and establish itself exponentially as a cultural epicenter through a carefully curated exhibition program and by hosting book presentations, talks, performances and art-related events within its programming to further engage its public and collector-base. Gradually over the last five years, the gallery has embarked and expanded on a clear exhibition program focused on very personal declinations of the conceptual attitude, often preferring to shed light on underrepresented mid-career and established artists both Italian and international. M77 currently represents Maria Lai, Nino Migliori, Emilio Isgrò, Grazia Varisco, Braco Dimitrijević, Avish Khebrehzadeh, Kendell Geers and Alberto Biasi.A
